Friends, Thai Food, and No Rain.

It tends to rain whenever we plan to take a little ride but today it only started to rain right after lunch.

Calm down Barney...

In life there are two types of people, one who is realistic and laid back and the other an uptight asshole. But there seems to be only one type of law officer.

So last night Johnny law thought that four friends pumping gas into a car, a bike, and a truck, drinking energy drinks, and talking about the night that was just had is suspicious behavior.  The mug attempts to interact as a commoner, fail, asking, oh thats a neat truck, what year is that, and what kind of bike is that, type questions. Peppering the conversations, while using that one of a kind cops stare accusing you of everything under the sun, with questions like, "please tell me your just tired, because you just don't look right, you gotta be on something," and, "hey, how about YOU, your okay"?

And the night ends with cop pulling some plates (okay you had us there), accusing one of us of motorcycle theft, being on narcotics, and being drunk in public...while all along the suspicious behavior that started this whole fiasco was getting gas and four friends discussing how to get back on the highway, all the while SOBER and drug fucking free!

think outside the box.

Its nice to see hard work actually result in something beautiful and worth while. Just one more step till its completely done, just have to wait for the new tank and fender to be painted before mounting them..Oh well, these old ones will get me through the weekend and then i can retire this awesome old tank back to the bookshelf.

Another bike to build before Smokeout.

Look Alike Contest

ACAB...

The Hammer in Hand Cycles Straightback with 16"...

Keeping some of the old and adding the new.
We thought that the stock drum brake would fit without any twerking but turns out we had to take about a half inch off the rear brake line guide, either way looks great! This pic was taken before we grind off half the guide, no worries there was enough left to properly guide the brake line.

A 2 Step Method On How To Properly Mount A Motor.

1 & 2.

Mocking Up

There is a place called Locust, NC.

So a 1960 Ford pick up can make it down to Locust and then back up to Winston in one day, carry a bike and new frame without any problems! good job! Now there is a fifth bike getting ready for smokeout...

So we have decided to add another bike in the building just in time to really stress the next two(ish) months...we aint down to the wire yet.
